Hurricane Katrina happened in the year of 2005 Atlantic hurricane season was one of the five deadliest and worrest hurricane in the history of the United States.
Hurricane katrine began in August of 2005 for four different states in the United States such as Southern Florida, Gulf of mexico, Texas and Southeast of Louisiana. this hurricane caused a lot of deaths and flooding in Florida before turning in the Gulf of Mexico. Then the storm reached in southeast Louisiana in August 29 which was the one that has caused severe destruction along the Gulf coast from central Florida to Texas, much of it due to the storm surge. The most severe loss of life and property damage occurred in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Today there are still people fled the hurricane katrina displaced residents in Mississippi and Louisiana are still living in other states those who does't have any home to live or go back because of the floods destroyed everything they had .
