my reaction

my reaction to this speech is that the lines from the part where he talks about the good neighbor policy seem to stand out in my head. i believe i heard of it before but don't knowing where. it might have come from a religious text, like respect your neighbor and your neighbor will respect you. cause the same thing applies to what Franklin D. Rossevelt said in his inaugural speech. this policy can be represented in all levels of life from your neighbor that lives beside you to another country that borders yours, all this can be represented by what and how it was written in his speech. like the line "respects the rights of others", if you respect the right of your foreign neighbors then they can only have a reason to do the same to you.
