I liked his speech, because he finally talked about problems in the country. I loved the quote from third paragraph, "Only a foolish optimist can deny the dark realities of the moment." This quote reminded me of Herbert Hoover, it seemed like he was talking about him.
I do agree with your statement. its always good for the president to talk about the problem they are having because when we talk about it, it only helps us to have a better understanding.
